Bird Whisperer 2025: July
I had a completely different plan for this painting originally but the emerald green ink I used wasn’t as waterproof as I thought and it bled all over my painting. I figured I could either junk it and start over or roll with the mistake and do something that used all that color.
I’m glad I did, to be honest, because once I started highlighting those pops of green with other flecks of yellow and magenta I think I ended up with something really cool and ethereal that was way cooler than my original plan.
