October Bird Whisperer: Turkey Vulture
I missed last month due to a bunch of different things, but better late than never!
I love a turkey vulture. I saw my first one in person a few years ago and boggled at the size and scale of it. Its wingspan alone seemed unreal to me. When I think of them, I think of a giant shadow across sun cracked grass, so seeing one peaceful and relaxed on a branch was a fun experience.
The colors in his feathers captivated me so I went hard on the lighting in this one.
