Grudge 2019 (lol)
This was such an unimpressive movie. There were like 2 scenes that interested me but otherwise it was such a miss. I went in wondering “why have I never heard about this?” and left going “nevermind, I get it now.”
Normally I wouldn’t post a painting for a movie that didn’t interest me (I like to hype up movies I enjoyed!) but this one based on the trailer turned out really cool, actually, and I wanted to share it.
I like how the colors turned out! It’s a palette swap from the actual movie colors but it has a nice muddy vibrance to it like a 1970s kitchen gone wrong that matches nicely with the horror subject.
Shame about the actual movie though.
