Getting ~historical~ with some of our movie watching lately.
Wife and I tried to rent the 2005 House of Wax but the rental store was out, so we decided to go for the classic film it was based on instead (1953’s House of Wax). The story was interesting but the visuals were shockingly boring. Wife blames it being shot for 3d, I’m not so sure.
Really liked our plucky heroine wandering through the dark basement full of wax figures, though. And even though the colors are super off in this, I like how the lighting turned out.
