Inktober Days 1 & 2!
Excited to participate in inktober this year! I thought I might have more fun if I theme all 31 ink drawings around a specific subject so this year my inktober is all owls all the time (aka OWLTOBER).
Day 1 was a bit of an experiment for how cartoony I want my owls to look and for Day 2 I started to refine into something a little cuter (notice the inclusion of the ever-important nose fluff, one of my favorite parts of an owl). I still love the artist owl’s judgey little face, though.
It is ridiculously easy to use instagram to post daily drawings, so if you want same-day snapshots of my owls you can follow me over there :3 I’ll be crossposting everything here too but usually with a few days delay so I can scan them etc.
