“Afternoon at the Beach”

So at much urging from @therewerenoturtles I decided to participate in the AO3 Femslash Exchange for the first time! I chose to do Mera and Wonder Woman (from DC Bombshells canon) for my recipient because it’s a pairing I haven’t seen all that much of and I thought it might be fun 🙂 I hadn’t contemplated this pairing much pre-swap but I can totally see the appeal.

I adore Marguerite Sauvage’s work on the series and I tried to channel some of her style into my own for this piece. I think I’m most pleased with how delicate and airy this looks? Something I want to play with again for future pieces.
