I wanted to make sure I did at least one this year since I usually miss this tag 🙂 Partner to the eelmaid illustration I did several years ago. I have a couple unusual fish mermaids I want to make eventually and a leafy sea dragon was top of the list. I love how intense they are with all their little tendrils and their patterning :3
There’s a black and white version of this in my sketchbook that I love dearly but something about these bright colors really helps bring it to life!
