My piece for the Beyond the Darkest Day pokemon zine! I picked Bea for my subject since she’s my favorite trainer (I love her design ;_;) and I decided to draw her and her Pokemon enjoying some sweets together on a day off.
The stairs were a challenge but I was determined to use scenery from the game for my illustration and the weathered steps with the banners and lamps are one of the more striking parts of her hometown.
