Fireworks

For @docholligay‘s same prompt party! The prompt combination was Usagi + New Year’s Fireworks.

I love Usagi’s bedroom in all of its pastel bunny glory and I was determined to work it into my illustration somehow. I thought about something smaller (watching fireworks on TV, maybe!) but I liked the idea of using her giant windows and letting the fireworks be something up close and awesome.

Luna is of course proving that she is not entirely a normal cat as she successfully sleeps through all the flash and bang.
