Last in my 4 mermaid series for MerMay this year! A curious little deep sea mermaid warming herself beside a thermal vent.
The mermaid is loosely inspired by zoarcid/pink vent fish. They have such a spare and simple eel-like shape, I got excited translating that shape into a long twisting tail.
