My monthly Drawterry illustration for October! Prompts used were: spooky, decorative gourd.
As soon as I saw decorative gourd I started thinking of Halloween decor, and then once I started sketching a festive still life these two mice immediately showed up and crashed the party. It’s only fair, they did the same with my illustration last October too!
I think this is one of my favorite illustrations I’ve done with the monthly prompts so far. Sometimes simple is best!
