Happy Mermay!
I treated myself to this cool circle paper a little while ago and I thought this might be a fun project to use it for 🙂 Each week this month I’ll be painting a mermaid on this circle paper using a different limited color palette.
This week was a challenge for me because the colors I chose were all so similar (dark blue, medium blue, teal). I ended up having to add more colors than I originally planned just to build out more contrast and visual clarity.
Ya girl is trying her hand at masking fluid to control the painting process more than usual. So far so good!
