April Colors 7 & 9

Day 9: least used colors. Technically it should be more yellow than lilac but

Dabbling in a color themed daily challenge this month! Going to see what prompts fit well with simple watercolor 🙂 Day 1: mossy

Round 11! This bird is SUPER tiny in real life

Round 10 is a bird that I can hardly believe is real, their colors look SO much like a fresh berry

Watercolor birds won an inspiration poll on twitter so I started off my Wednesday night painting some owl finches 🙂

Round 9: I can’t remember if we chose this for his colors or his incredibly outlandish sounding name, but either way I love how pastel he is

Round 7 is the western sandpiper! I love how delicate the feather color turned out

Round 6 of the bird off is the very charmingly named elegant trogon! I loved the combination of colors in this one.

Round five of the birdoff is kiwis! I love these round muppet birds ;-;

Round 4: California quail! The cutest roundest bird

Round 3! Barn Owl, one of my favorite owls *-*
