I assumed this is what Newt meant when he was talking about kaiju and the dinosaurs, but I could be wrong.
In my personal Pacific Rim headcanon, kaiju suits would be super popular Halloween costumes for pets. Especially for small dogs.
This took way longer than it should have and I regret nothing. (Thank you, Jeanne, for enabling me by scripting this for me!)
