Painting based on a photograph I took wandering around North Portland right after we moved. The used CD dragon was the first big piece of telephone pole art I saw and I was charmed out of my fucking gourd.
This was painted to be a postcard so I focused on capturing the feeling the street corner gave me more than literal details of the landscape. It’s bright and chaotic and joyful so I think I succeeded with my goal.
