If we’re drawing anyone from Xmen obviously it’s going to be Storm because we love Storm. She was my favorite back in the day and she’s my favorite now. But my friend Gina also had the absolutely genius suggestion of doing Jean and Madeline as a pair and my brain sure snatched that and ran with it. I was trying to channel that Sailor Moon opening sequence energy, even if the piece doesn’t look quite like an homage.
