A little something I did for the Teen OC Zine :3 The first drawing of an old character of mine and then a redraw from this August.
Tartan, aka the Plaid Avenger, was a very short lived mascot for my website back in high school. She was meant to be a superhero but I never actually designed her superhero costume or figured out how she fought crime, which is 100% in keeping with how I designed OCs when I was 15.
For the redraw I wanted to keep the same sense of style but update her outfit a little and actually have her wear some plaid. I… really like this piece actually, the graphic element of the rainy background makes me really happy and her smile is just so darn infectious.
