Bird Whisperer: Little Egret
Bird time, bird time!
I was SO excited that this month’s bird was an egret. They’re one of my favorites, I think their long fluffy necks and their long spindle legs are so elegant 🙂
The source photo had a beautiful sparseness that I wanted to accentuate by using very few colors and leaving the negative space as strong as possible. I’m really happy with how it turned out, especially his sweet little face.
