First off, thank you to @adorkastock for hosting this challenge! I’ve participated twice now and both times have been a really great mix of poses and scenarios to draw 🙂
Recapping for the unfamiliar: Draw Everything June is a challenge where a reference photo is posted every weekday in June and you create a piece of art based on that photo. There were 22 weekdays in June this year so I ended up with 22 paintings!
I regretted not having much cohesion in what I made last year so this year I deliberately picked design elements that would unify everything I made (all handpainted, all inked with the same technique, all including a colorblock background, etc). I really, really like how the whole set turned out, so I’m really glad I made this choice.

- Critical Role fanart: 7/22
- Sailor Moon fanart: 7/22
- Pieces I had to scrap and redraw because I made mistakes inking: 3/22
- Most challenging: Utena on that horse, oh my god
- Most rewarding: Eternal Sailor Moon transformation
Sitting here at the finish line feeling super accomplished and happy I participated. Here’s to next year!
