Neither the wife or I were prepared for how restrained and moody this film was going to be. I held off on seeing it when it came out because I was worried it was going to scare the pants off me, so I wasn’t expecting to be so fascinated with the characters and the haunting when we finally watched it. Less scared, more compelled.
Playing with my 3 color+black painting technique again. The shot looks completely different from the film in color, but somehow captures the mood of staring into the unknown just right for me.
