My sketchbook painting for “Rabbit Trap”
I was shocked I missed this movie when it came out last year (it’s so much my jam). I love anything in the specific realm of horror that starts to bleed into a fairytale.
The visuals in this movie are so lush that I was spoiled for choice, but ultimately for me it was the image of the rabbit that lingered long after the movie was over. The use of nature, the circles, the melancholy, and the significance of the rabbit kinda tipped it for me.
