Luna Moth and Rosy Maple Moth
I painted these for the ATC (tiny original art card) show at Artist Supply Center here in Portland. Last year my paintings were very disconnected so this year I set out to paint two things on a specific theme.
I picked these two moths for their bright colors but also how different they both were. The lanky elegance of the luna moth is a sharp contrast to the stocky rosy maple and I had fun playing with that.
